End-of-term report of the three commissioners of the Municipality of Capistrano (president Maria Rosa Luzza, members of the vice-prefect Emma Caprino and the economic and financial officer Carla Fragomeni), in the Vibonese area, which returns to the vote on Sunday and Monday after two years of commissionership of the Municipality due to mafia infiltration. There are two lists in the field: one headed by the former mayor Marco Martino (for whom a request for ineligibility made by the Ministry of the Interior is pending before the Court of Vibo), the other led by the challenger Giuseppe Crispino. The extraordinary commissioners underline in their report that they have worked to «remove the conditions of administrative irregularity and management deficiencies that had motivated the dissolution measure, laying the foundations for the future administration to be able to exercise its functions in compliance with the principles of legality, transparency and good performance of administrative action, in a territory that requires strong and credible institutions».

In the Vibo area there is also voting in Acquaro, another municipality that has left the commissionerate due to mafia infiltration. The former mayor, Giuseppe Barilaro, had attempted to re-present himself but the list was excluded due to formal irregularities in the presentation by the district electoral commission, the TAR and the Council of State. Therefore, the only list that is running for mayor Giuseppe Ferraro remains in the running in Acquaro.
