The warning sent in recent months by the prefecture was not processed by the Riace municipal administration, thus triggering the procedure envisaged by the Consolidated Law on local authorities. According to what has been learned, the official appointed by the prefect has already taken office, replacing the municipal bodies to complete the accounting process and secure the institution’s finances.
