The ROS – With the executive support support of the provincial carabinieri command of Reggio Calabria and the Eliportato Carabinieri Squadron Cacciatori “Calabria” – coordinated by the DDA directed by Giuseppe Lombardo, executed the order of precautionary custody, issued by the investigating judge, against 4 subjects deemed to be part of the “Labate” gang, articulation ‘Ndranghetista Egemone in the Gebbione districtinvestigated, in various capacities, of mafia -type association.
Among the arrested are the brothers Michele and Francesco Salvatore Labate, and Paolo Labate (born in 1985, son of Michele Labate). The three are considered prominent characters of the alleged gang of ‘Ndrangheta Labate which operates in the Gibbione neighborhoods and bars in the heart of Reggio Sud.
