The DDA of Catanzaro presented an appeal for 35 defendants judged with abbreviated proceedings in the Maestrale-Olimpo-Imperium trial. On March 20, 2025, the preliminary hearing judge of the Court of Catanzaro sentenced 50 of the 91 defendants.
Now the District Attorney’s Office is asking the Court of Appeal to at least partially reverse that ruling.
