The future of the hospital structures of the regional capital is timidly returning to the political and social debate of the city. Although, in fact, this is the decisive issue for the future of what was to become the “city of health” for mayor Fiorita, there was a deafening silence from city politics (with the exception of the outings of city councilor Vincenzo Capellupo) on the issue during the recent electoral campaign.
To reopen the topic – which in the columns of Southern Gazette continued to find ample space – they were the new regional councilor Enzo Bruno (Tridico president) and the former health director of the “Pugliese-Ciaccio” and PD exponent Lino Puzzonia. For both, on the issue of healthcare “unfortunately, the usual ‘cement businessmen’ are already moving”.
