«A few days after the fire set inside the changing rooms of the Villaggio Europa pitches, which with a resolution of the current council had already been declared a “Common Good”, we believe it is necessary to make some clarifications». The citizens of Villaggio Europa will have their say and announce a popular assembly for Thursday, at 6.30 pm.
«Before anything we want to say our heartfelt thanks to all those who in recent days have shown solidarity for what happened and, with private messages, posts on social media and declarations, felt the need to express their closeness to the Villaggio Europa community, struck in the heart by an ignoble and worrying gesture at the same time». Having said that, they are keen to clarify that they are simple citizens who love their neighborhood and for this reason they are not interested in entering into a political-electoral discussion. Even more so “if the reasons behind this sudden interest in the Europa Village have nothing to do with our daily commitment to creating community and making the neighborhood in which we live a shared and participated space”, they specify.
