By popular demand, a new stage is added to the journey that Negramaro will make in the summer of 2024 in Italian stadiums: in fact, Sicily could not be missing, to which the band has always been very attached. The appointment will be at the Franco Scoglio stadium in Messina on July 3rd. At the official launch of the event, just under a year after the Salento band’s performance in Piazza Duomo last December 29th, Mayor Federico Basile comments: “welcoming the Negramaros back to Messina is a source of great satisfaction. The live event at the Franco Scoglio stadium scheduled for next summer in Messina represents a further step in implementing our strategic vision within the promotional plan Messina City of Music and Events, aimed at combining the value of music with the spirit of a Messina is increasingly inclusive, participatory and attracting the public.”
“The announcement of a new concert, that of Negramaro for the summer of 2024, after that of Ultimo on June 28th and Zucchero on June 30th, represents – adds the councilor for Entertainment and Major Events Massimo Finocchiaro – the desire of this Administration to plan a path, in the context of the Messina City of Music and Events brand, which brings together culture, tourism and attractiveness of the City to broaden our scope of action, create an economic spin-off to offer our territory positive repercussions and ever greater visibility beyond the Strait”.
The event will be organized by Puntoeacapo (with the artistic direction of Nuccio La Ferlita)Friends & Partners and Magellano Concerti, in collaboration with the Municipality of Messina.
After two decades of musical successes and triumphs, Negramaro are ready to write another chapter in their history, with new unmissable live stadium events for 2024 that virtually unite the South and North of Italy. Three iconic stadiums: 15 June at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium in Naples, 22 June at the San Siro Stadium in Milan and 3 July at the Franco Scoglio (San Filippo) Stadium in Messina.
The band is fresh from the triumph of its twentieth anniversary celebrations which saw it engaged in the long N20 summer tour, one sold out after another on all dates, and with the release of the event docufilm, premiered at the Festa del Cinema of Rome, “NEGRAMARO BACK HOME – NOW I KNOW TO STAY”created on the occasion of the N20 BACK HOME, the big sold out music party that was held last August 12th at the Fortunato Cesari Airport in Galatina (Lecce) with the friends who accompanied their artistic journey: Elisa, Fiorella Mannoia, Samuele Bersani, Niccolò Fabi, Diodato, Sangiovanni, Malika Ayane, Ermal Meta, Rosa Chemical, Ariete and Aiello who with new and spectacular performances retraced the history of the group, creating an experience that went beyond the confines of the concert.

The other concerts: a summer in notes
The Negramaro concert is added to those of Last of June 28th and Sugar of June 30th. But they won’t be the only three summer concerts at “San Filippo”. The municipal administration is on the verge of closing two other events which will bring other artists loved by the public to Messina.
