The deputy mayor Salvatore Buemi has resignedwhich yesterday evening communicated the decision already announced previously to the first citizen Gino Bertolami. A choice recorded and accepted between the amazement and bitterness of the entire council majority that supports the Novara administration, which has found a bare of its operational institutional representative from culture, tourism and events this morning. “Legitimate news, but difficult to digest for our government team,” commented the mayor Bertolami, who in a video published this morning on social media outlined the reasons already exhibited in a previous video intervention by the person concerned. At the basis of Salvatore Buemi’s decision, alongside the first citizen for eight years (almost two mandates), “different political and operational visions for the tourist and cultural development of Novara di Sicilia”, explained the former right arm of Bertolami in a passage, which in recent years has recorded successes and great results in the proxies entrusted to him.
“Small disagreements relating to the bureaucratic part necessary for programming, as happens in the best families,” added Bertolami in his speech. Apart from the thanks and the mutual declarations of peace, it seems that between the mayor and the deputy mayor had long been stacked that political and operational idyll that during the last decade had positively characterized the administrative action in favor of the country.
