The president of the Calabria Region, Roberto Occhiuto, said this in a video on social media in which he answers questions from some citizens.

Occhiuto then stated that «we will put the Catanzaro Metro into operation in a few weeks, which will unite the entire urban fabric of the capital». Occhiuto also announced that in mid-2026 two measures anticipated in the last electoral campaign will be implemented, “Casa Cento Calabria”, a loan for the purchase or renovation of a house for those who decide to reside in Calabrian villages, and the “merit income” for Calabrian graduates who – the President of the Region recalled – decide to enroll in our universities as long as they maintain an average of 27″.
