THE firefighters of the provincial command of Vibo Valentia intervened today in the territory of Vibonesi greenhouses following a request for help from a person who was on a bike not far from the Alaco river dam in the municipality of Brognaturo. The latter lost orientation after entering the dense vegetation.
The operations room operator managed to guide the person by telephone towards the San Sostene wind park, where the teams of the Serra San Bruno detachment and that of the Soverato (CZ) detachment were sent jointly. The person was recovered in good condition at 5.30pm.
