“Her now, not in 50 years.” This is the unanimous message that emerged at the San Domenico Palace in Taormina, where, on the occasion of the Taormina Film Festival, a group of actresses, artists and professionals of cinema met to face the theme of gender equality in the world of audiovisual. The meeting, strongly desired by Tiziana Rocca artistic directorhe translated into a comparison full of personal experiences and shared awareness, among those who live the cinema every day, inside and outside the set.
Dàvine Joy Randolph, Oscar winner for ‘The Holdovers’the new female solidarity said during the contractual negotiations: “What I see happen now, especially among women, is that we call ourselves during negotiations: ‘Hey, what are they offering you?’.
