We lived moments of emotion this morning in the council chamber “Falcone and Borsellino” on the occasion of the awarding of the special mention to the memory of the Maestro Giuseppe Campagnathe honor provided for by the municipal regulation for the granting of civic merits.
It could not have been otherwise in consideration of the deep track that the master countryside left in the hearts of the people who knew and appreciated him for his art and for his humanity.
The mayor underlined it Vincenzo Voce which highlighted that when it was announced that the administration had deliberated the honor in many commented on the social pages of the Municipality of Crotone “a recognition that is attributed to” my “master”.
Comments that highlight the affection that has linked and still binds many students, some of whom have been made in the various conservatives of music and reached prestigious goals, to the master campaign.
Among these Sergio Cammariere who sent a message read from Raffaele Campaignson of the master: “The master campaign was my first great music and life teacher. I will forever grateful to him for all the things he taught me in those years. The line that distinguished him from the other teaching at school was his peacefulness, he was a kind and very patient man”.
“A well -deserved recognition that wants to testify to the affection and gratitude of the whole city community for one of the most significant figures of the Crotone cultural landscape,” said the mayor voice.
“He lived in music and transferred his love towards his students. The Crotonese culture is grateful to the master countryside as far as he did for the growth not only of many young people,” said the Councilor for Culture Nicola Corigliano who proposed to the junta the adoption of the merit provision.
In a video projected in the room the fundamental passages of the professional life of the master campaign: the establishment and direction of various band complexes both in Crotone and in its province, including the “Choir of white voices” and the polyphonic choir “Laudate Dominum” and the numerous awards that has met nationally.
“But today is the most beautiful because he comes from the city where he lived and who loved. A recognition that falls on the centenary of his birth and during the holidays in honor of Maria di Capo Colonna to whom my father was deeply devoted” said his son Raffaele who thanked the mayor, the commissioner and the administration for the merit.
