The ratio of the measure
«The rationale for the intervention is, therefore, strictly connected to the significant increase in non-EU e-commerce flows and the consequent increase in administrative burdens relating to customs controls, risk analysis activities, documentary checks and adjustments to the IT systems necessary for the management of particular customs declarations», he added.
The decision will be coordinated at national level
«Naturally the discussion on this and other measures regarding international trade continues and we should take a decision at a national level but coordinated with respect to the measures that each country has taken regarding this case», he concluded.
