Saturday, visitors to the amusement park “Canada’s Wonderland” to Vaughan, Ontariohave remained stuck upside down on a carousel for almost half an hour. CBC reported that many guests lost feeling in their legs while suspended, and some panicked and vomited.
While some initially thought it was part of the experience, the arrival of ambulances made it clear there had been a serious problem. The fault was resolved at 11.05pm and the ride was then closed for investigations. Two guests reported chest pains but were later released from the park’s medical center. Guest safety is the top priority, the park said. The Lumberjack ride opened in 2018.
