Recent retirements and some transfers have complicated things regarding the staffing of the Municipality of Paola. It is not easy to increase the workforce also due to those spending containment plans that the municipality of Paola must adhere to. There are currently 68 vacancies in the workforce. In detail, 13 officials (ex cat. D), 22 instructors (ex cat. C), 21 expert operators (ex cat. B), and 12 operators (ex cat. A) are missing. According to the plans, to comply with the programming foreseen and approved by Cosfel for the year 2025, the institution must complete some activities within a few months. First of all, a fourth full-time security operator must be hired, then we must proceed with the hiring of four part-time social workers for 24 hours (officials) who would already be financed with authorized expenditure of over 90 thousand euros. While as regards the three figures (profiles with a high specialist content) the institution does not proceed with the aforementioned hiring.
