Investments in active employment policies led by the Pnrr have resulted in 56 thousand hires in Calabria, the provision of training for reskilling and upskilling to 40 thousand people and 150 thousand taken on in the Calabrian Employment Centres, marking a +150% compared to the strategic objectives envisaged. Fortunato Varone, director of the regional Labor Department, provided the data on the impact of the Pnrr on the labor sector in Calabria. It did so during the broad initiative promoted by councilor Giovanni Calabrese at the Catanzaro Chamber of Commerce in which the acronym Pnrr was declined according to a new vision “Thinking the New. Starting again on the Net”.
