Tadej Pogacar won the third stage of the Tour de France, the 196 kilometer Granollers-Les Angles, entirely held in Catalonia, also taking the yellow jersey as leader of the general classification.
The world champion preceded the Danish Jonas Vingegaard on the uphill finish in Les Angles, two seconds behind. Behind them, the Ecuadorian Richard Carapaz and the Frenchman Paul Seixas finished.
Pogacar and Vingegaard now have the same time in the general classification, but the Slovenian wears the yellow jersey thanks to the best placings obtained in the first three stages of the Grande Boucle.
