Participation worth remembering for the Asd Polisportiva FC Contesse di Messina, protagonist at the Italian Paralympic Indoor Championships organized by FISPES in Ancona.
The Sicilian expedition returns home with highly prestigious loot: 16 medals in total, the result of commitment, determination and teamwork. In detail, the medal table speaks of 9 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze, numbers that testify to the solidity of the group and the excellent start of the new competitive season.
Among the most important results stands out the Italian record in the T13 category high jump signed by Pietro Cicero, a performance that represents one of the highlights of the Italian weekend. An achievement that further embellishes a participation already full of satisfactions.
Alongside the confirmations, there was no shortage of news: the entry into the team of two new athletes, Andrea Busà and Marco Sciutteri, marks a further step forward in the growth path of the Messina association.
As always, the careful guidance of the technicians Giuseppe Locandro and Claudio Paolillo was decisive, whose work contributed to building a group capable of combining sporting results and profound values. The Polisportiva returned to Sicily with the awareness of having started the season in the best possible way, but above all with the joy of having shared moments of inclusion, growth and passion: elements that continue to represent the heart of the sporting activity and of the project carried out by the club.
