The President of the Province of Crotone, Antonio Ammirati, signed the decree conferring delegations to the provincial councilors elected in the consultation of 29 March 2026, thus starting the full operation of the administrative action of the body for the 2026-2030 mandate.
The provision, adopted in compliance with current legislation and the principles of collegiality and administrative participation, assigns specific strategic skills to the Councilors with the aim of strengthening the coordination of institutional activities and guaranteeing a more effective response to the needs of the provincial territory.
Appointment of the Vice President
At the same time, the President appointed councilor Saverio Punelli as Vice President of the Province, who was given the powers relating to technical-administrative assistance to local authorities, the Single Contracting Station/CUC, Personnel, Anti-Corruption, International Cooperation and Community Policies.
List of delegations assigned to the Directors
Below are the assigned delegations:
– Vincenzo Raffaele Lagani: Public Works, CIS, Mobility and Transport, School network and right to study, Educational policies and Culture.
– Ferdinando Alfì: Youth Policies, Sports Facilities, Sport, Promotion and enhancement of the territory and Tourism.
– Cataldo Maltese: Roads in the Northern Area, Road authorizations and concessions, Exceptional transport, Road planning and design in the Northern Area, Development of villages, Agricultural policies, Productive activities, Hunting and fishing, Water resources.
– Antonio Ierardi: Relations with mountain municipalities, Roads in the Southern Area, Road authorizations and concessions, Exceptional transport, Road planning and design in the Southern Area, Transparency and legality, PNRR.
– Vincenzo Familiari: Environment, Waste and reclamation, Energy sources, School buildings and General affairs.
– Antonio Ranieri: “Capo Rizzuto” Marine Protected Area, Vehicle fleet management, Professional training, Employment and Immigration centres.
All matters not expressly delegated remain reserved to the President of the Province.
