March 8th is knocking on the doors and the candidates for the provincial elections are champing at the bit. Not only the pretenders to the leadership of the organization, but also the aspirants for a seat in the assembly. Yes, because the vote, in this competition, concerns the renewal of both roles (president and councilors, in fact) which usually, based on the Delrio Law, differ with respect to the duration of the mandate, since the president remains in office for four years, while the councilors remain in office for two years.
The legislature, in any case, was expiring, brought forward by a few months due to the resignation of the outgoing tenant, Rosaria Succurro, who moved to the Citadel at the last regional elections and it was up to the deputy, Giancarlo Lamensa, to take over the reins of the Province during this transition period, as acting.
