This morning with a message to the FdI group in Campidoglio Rachele Mussolini said goodbye to her colleagues, formalizing her farewell to Giorgia Meloni’s party. Mussolini had entered the City Council as a champion of preferences in 2021. Now the move to Forza Italia, which for years has also been a reference point for her sister, Alessandra. In Campidoglio, however, they are looking for the final adjustments to create the council group: in the Fi-Udc list only Marco Di Stefano was elected but then with the entrance of the councilor in Noi Moderati the group became Fi-Nm. Now they are therefore studying the regulation to ensure that Rachele Mussolini can sit among the benches of the Giulio Cesare Hall under the symbol of Forza Italia.

The reason for the move from via della Scrofa is this: «FdI has positions that are too right-right, according to Rachele Mussolini who would have explained to the Berlusconi colonels in these hours, decisive for closing the deal, that she has a “different sensitivity on rights” compared to the bulk of the Brothers».
