The work of the coordination group established by the Municipality of Reggio Calabria for the organization of the Rai New Year’s Eve 2024, which will be held in the city of the Strait, continues. Over the past few weeks, Mayor Giuseppe Falcomatà, with representatives of the Prefecture and the police, had already carried out a series of inspections to best define the logistical and organizational methods and guarantee the safety of the event.
In addition to the various sectors of the municipal offices, other bodies and companies were also involved in the meeting, including Atam and Castore, to coordinate the public transport service and the needs related to the management of the area. THEThe working group, in fact, examined in detail the indications put forward by RAI for the success of the event, which represents an important showcase for the city and an opportunity for tourism and cultural promotion.
Each sector involved has been entrusted with a specific task which will have to be carried out in the coming weeks of preparation. Each activity will be carried out in close collaboration with the Prefecture and the Police Headquarters, coordinating with the indications of the authorities to guarantee the safety and correct conduct of the event.
The working group will meet periodically to monitor the progress of the various projects and to update the various bodies involved on the stages of the process. “Collaboration between the various sectors and local and national authorities is essential for the success of the event – it was said during the meeting – and to offer citizens and visitors an unforgettable New Year”.
Through this coordination work, the Municipality of Reggio Calabria confirms its commitment to organizing a safe, festive event capable of enhancing the city in all its beauty, ready to welcome thousands of people from all over Italy.
