Second Sky News Arabia and the Yemeni News Agency Sheba, United States, Israel and the United Kingdom they conducted a massive airstrike with 30 raids on Sanaa and on the port of Hodeidah in Yemen. The attacks also targeted a large power plant located near the capital.
Local sources report that the inhabitants of the area of Sanaa have witnessed at least 10 waves of consecutive attacks also directed against underground targets of the Houthisincluding the headquarters of the Iranian-backed groupradar sites and missile launchers near the coast.
Strategic objectives in the crosshairs
In the affected area, the pro-Iranian militia of the Houthis operates strategic bases used to launch attacks against commercial shipping in the Red Sea and against objectives in Israel. The operation appears to be aimed at targeting key infrastructure and reducing the group’s ability to carry out further offensive actions.
