“Similarly, on today’s date, the playing fields in use at Reggina are inadequate and not maintained, with very serious risks for the health and safety of sports workers – continue AIC and AIAC -. Nonetheless, the company with PEC communication from the current Sole Administrator, summoned the athletes, the technical staff, for training, therefore called to render their services in violation of the endofederal rules, in the absence of payment of wages, in the absence of regular membership of the staff technical and in violation of the most basic measures to protect their safety at work. The foregoing integrates a gross violation of the rights of workers in the sports sector and damages their working dignity, considering that the company is clearly in a situation such as to be unable to honor its fundamental obligations and, above all, respect for the right fundamental to the health of its workers, without even having paid arrears yet”.
“The company – concludes the press release – is not, at present, able to adopt any suitable organizational measure, aimed at guaranteeing that the work performance can be carried out in compliance with the regulatory provisions and, therefore, the AIC and the AIAC , in reaffirming its solidarity and closeness to the employees of Reggina 1914 Srl, reserving the right to take any more appropriate initiative necessary to protect the individual and collective rights of its associates, proclaim formal abstention from work of the same, also pursuant to and for the purposes of art. 44, Legislative Decree no. 81/2008, starting from today and until the exemption of the technical staff is revoked, with consequent regular enrollment of the same and the above circumstances are not remedied”.
