The Italian Football Federation responded positively to the request of the acting mayor of the Municipality of Reggio Calabria, Paolo Brunetti, authorizing the registration of a club, representing the City of Reggio Calabria, in the next Serie D championship. The registration fee was set by the Federation at 400 thousand euros. «Tomorrow, we will publish the public notice for the reception of expressions of interest to identify a new property that can collect the important legacy and centenary history of Reggio Calabria football». This is what the acting mayor, Paolo Brunetti, states in a press note, adding: «We trust in the widest possible participation of the business world to bring back momentum and vigor to a sector which, in the area, represents an authentic driving force for development in a sporting, social and economic perspective.”
