Exchange of Christmas greetings also for the Metropolitan City of Reggio Calabria. In the Boccioni Hall of Palazzo Alvaro the metropolitan mayor Giuseppe Falcomatà greeted the organisation’s employees in the traditional end-of-year greeting exchange. The deputy mayor was also present Carmelo Versacethe managing director Giuseppe Marino, the General Director of the Institution Umberto Nucara and the Administrator of Svi.Pro.Re Antonino Battaglia, who sent their best wishes to the organisation’s employees.

“We are a family – stated the mayor – and for this very reason it is right to stop for a moment at the end of the year for the joy of exchanging good wishes on the occasion of these Christmas holidays which take on a special value for us by virtue of the many activities we have planned . We are happy to be able to state that the Metropolitan City is a healthy body, from a financial point of view, with an efficient administrative machine, which operates in harmony with the political direction, which has often made us proud on many occasions, when we have discussed with other bodies or national bodies. Truly important work has been done in recent years – added the mayor – and more will have to be done. The objective is to continue to make the activity of the metropolitan administration more efficient, with the hope that 2025 will be the right year to also implement professional energies, with the inclusion of many young people from our territory who intend to try their hand at in public work. We are happy that the Metropolitan City is an attractive body, which puts everyone in a position to work well, in a harmonious and productive context. This does not always happen – concluded the mayor – and therefore our hope must be to continue on the path traced, sharing the objectives and working together to achieve them”.

On the sidelines of the meeting with the organisation’s employees, Mayor Falcomatà also dedicated an exchange of good wishes with journalists and information workers in the Gilda Trisolini Library Room. “Best wishes also to you – said the mayor speaking to the press – who, due to the work you do, are often in contact with the Administration and in some way experience its successes and difficulties. We are happy to also be able to share a moment of celebration and an exchange of good wishes with those who have the delicate task of describing the administrative and political activities that our city is experiencing in recent years”.
