The League is delighted with the 15% obtained in the city, where Franco Sarica, supported by the former mayor and governor Peppe Scopelliti, was the most voted on the list with 4891 votes. «The League – highlighted Sarica on the sidelines of a public meeting held in the Lucianum auditorium – has demonstrated that it is present and strong in the area. We thank Mattiani, provincial coordinator, who had an enormous result and wanted me to apply. The list made for Reggio Calabria was strong and we demonstrated it.” A passage on possible surprises in the distribution of seats in the Regional Council which would lead to an election of the League’s candidate is inevitable.
