From 24 to 27 April, the Monumental Lungomare Italo Falcomatà of Reggio Calabria will turn into the capital of taste with the arrival of the “Reggio Calabria Street Food Fest“, Promoted and organized by”Eventual“In collaboration with the Metropolitan city and the municipality of Reggio Calabria.
The event was presented during a press conference that took place at Villa Zerbi.
Beating heart of the event le 37 ” houses of taste ‘, of which 35 dedicated to food specialties and two to the craft beers of the metropolitan area of Reggio. We move from the most authentic flavors of the Calabrian tradition, to the Sicilian and national ones, such as the beloved Abruzzo arrosticini or the Neapolitan fried pizza, with some touch of internationality. Also present is a totally gluten free food station, to allow everyone to participate and “enjoy” the best event there is.
The mayor of the metropolitan city of Reggio Calabria spoke at the meeting with journalists Giuseppe Falcomatà: “It will be a truly engaging moment – he said – una real party capable of enhancing our culinary excellencean extraordinary opportunity to enhance our territory through flavors, traditions and conviviality. The Reggio Calabria Street Food Fest It is a sensory journey that crosses cultures and traditions, designed not only to satisfy the palate but also to offer a 360 -degree experience of sociality and entertainment. Every evening, in fact, the event will be animated by live music with bands and DJ sets, while the atmosphere will be made even more lively by the presence of the Joculares, a company of street artists and entertainers who will involve adults and children with itinerant shows. The flagship of the event is the show cooking area, every evening with two appointments, at 7pm and at 8 pm. Here renowned chefs, including starry ones, and ice cream makers, will express themselves live with their preparations, in the presence of six experts who will taste and commemorate the dishes.
