The echoes of the latest statements by Francesco Cannizzaro, who in the last rally-press conference reiterated his firm no to the candidacy of Massimiliano Merenda in the center-right with the Noi Moderati list, reached via Filippini, where the headquarters of the Metropolitan Federation of the Democratic Party is located. And they made noise, also causing a certain annoyance, especially the words with which Cannizzaro dismissed the proposal to sign a public pact on transparency, put forward by Mimmo Battaglia, claiming that he “didn’t have time”. Because – in the opinion of the PD leaders – those words of Cannizzaro confirm “a completely contradictory management of the candidatures in the centre-right”.
