First official institutional visit to the Prefecture of the municipal council, led by the mayor Giuseppe Falcomatà. This morning, the municipal executive officially met with the city prefect, Clara Vaccaro, in the Government Palace in Piazza Italia. A cordial meeting during which many important issues for the life of the city community were addressed.
The visit was an opportunity to officially present the new members of the municipal council to Prefect Vaccaro and allowed the parties to have a constructive discussion on the idea of the city and to compare the possible solutions for the critical issues encountered.
The mediation work of the Government representative in the territory is essential to deal with all emergencies with balance and determination. Today’s appointment also served to strengthen the collaborative relationship between the two bodies. The Prefect welcomed the new municipal councilors wishing them good work.
