With the first meeting of the Coordination Committee formally began Calabrian headquarters of the SNA (national school of administration), the first in Italy, inaugurated last December, in Reggio Calabria by the Minister of Public Administration, Paolo Zangrillotogether with the president of the Region Roberto Occhiuto and the deputy Francesco Cannizzaro, and hosted at Palazzo Zani, made available by the Mediterranean University.
The Committee was chaired yesterday morning by the vice-president of the Calabria Region, Giusi Princi which held the first meeting of the Coordination which also includes prof. Daniele Cananzidesignated by the University of Mediterranean Studies, the advisor Marcello Fioridesignated by the Government Civil Service Department and the advisor Paolo Naccaratodesignated by the National School of Administration. The objective of the School is to offer public sector workers, starting with those from Calabria and other southern regions, a specialized training course, with a focus on rights and immigration and beyond. The first Coordination meeting served to define the program for 2024/2025 and then start the activities.
«I like to define it as a beautiful page of political concreteness – Vice President Princi told us – only three months ago Minister Zangrillo, together with President Occhiuto and the Hon. Cannizzaro, had signed the protocol for the opening of this important training centre, today (yesterday for those reading this) the signed commitment was formalised, thanks also to the important contribution of the Mediterranean University led by the rector Giuseppe Zimbalatti. We aim to train and strengthen – he added – the role of the new ruling class of the public administration which increasingly requires skills and competitiveness”.
