The election Saturday of Francesco Cannizzaro, centre-right mayoral candidate in Reggio Calabria, began among young people. The meeting with the Forza Italia electoral committee was held in Piazza Camagna, with the presentation of the youngest candidates on the lists.

The rally in Piazza Duomo
In the afternoon the rally in Piazza Duomo for the presentation of the lists of Forza Italia and Cannizzaro as mayor. The candidate hoped for a discussion on the contents: “In recent days we have witnessed a somewhat poor debate. I believe we can discuss a true vision of the city.”
Airport and view of the Strait
Among the central themes is also the new terminal of the Strait Airport, which will be inaugurated next Saturday. “A modern, welcoming and attractive structure that represents our idea of the city”.
Cannizzaro also relaunched the proposal for governance of the Strait and the objective of nominating Reggio as a strategic city in the Mattei Plan, strengthening relations with North Africa, in particular with Tunisia.
