The Provincial Council of Cosenza unanimously approved the motion for the restoration of the Rossano Court, marking an important point in the debate on one of the most heartfelt and complex disputes in the area. The act, presented by provincial councilor Tonino Uva, represents the extension on a provincial scale of a political and civil path already started in recent months. The motion approved in Cosenza is not an isolated initiative. The document had in fact already been discussed and unanimously approved by the Corigliano-Rossano City Council last January. With his recent election within the Provincial Council, Tonino Uva wanted to forcefully relaunch the issue, bringing it to the hall of Palazzo di Piazza 15 Marzo to give the request political and institutional weight also on the part of the provincial body. The objective is to transform a legitimate local claim into a battle shared by the entire province, amplifying the voice of the territory towards national decision-makers.
