Accident on the SS106 in the Copanello di Stalettì section, where an accident occurred involving two cars, a Peugeot and an Audi. The fire brigade team of the Provincial Command of Catanzaro – Soverato detachment – worked to extract the driver and the passenger who were on board the Peugeot, who were stuck inside the passenger compartment following the impact. The two were made safe and handed over to the healthcare staff of Suem 118 for treatment and subsequent transfer to hospital. The driver of the Audi, who left the vehicle independently, was also entrusted to the medical staff for checks. The Carabinieri are on site for the relevant findings and obligations. The SS106, in the affected section, is currently closed in the direction of Soverato, with a mandatory exit at Squillace Lido towards the Var/A.
