History is written. And it will remain in everyone’s mind forever. A part of the new state road 106 in Roseto Capo Spulico has been opened. For a few hours, vehicular traffic in the vicinity of Frederick’s castle has been diverted inside the north tunnel. This is 300 meters of new roadway which effectively opens the doors to the future, at least as regards transport and large infrastructures. The diversion was necessary to complete the work in the southern tunnel. This is on the Taranto side, while further down in the direction of Sibari and Villapiana several kilometers of road have already been asphalted and will soon be opened to cars and trucks. In short, the CEO of Webuild Sirjo Scpa Statale Jonica, engineer Salvatore Lieto, has also kept his word regarding the technical times, and the largest construction site currently present in Italy is proceeding quickly, as per the timetable. All this, thanks to great teamwork between Anas, Webuild, the Region and the Municipalities which is guaranteeing this part of Calabria a work that has been awaited for decades and which Vivadio sees the light of day.
