San Donato di Ninea, 53-year-old worker found dead: investigation into causes

Tragedy in the last few hours in the rural locality Arcomano located in the territory of San Donato di Ninea, in the Cosenza area. A 53-year-old Romanian man was found dead on agricultural land. It was some passers-by who raised the alarm after the terrible discovery. The man was lying on himself and showed no signs of life, something that was unfortunately confirmed by the 118 paramedics who arrived on the scene once alerted. The military personnel of the Castrovillari company, competent for the territory, were the first to arrive and the information was sent to the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the city of Pollino. The causes of death are being investigated and in addition to the possible illness, the hypothesis of a probable anaphylactic shock following an insect bite is gaining ground. We are awaiting the coroner’s examination and possible autopsy. The man unfortunately leaves behind his wife and three school-age children.
