Nightmare night in the Lago district, a rural location in San Lorenzo where around two thousand olive trees, measuring one meter and twenty to one meter and fifty high, were removed overnight and stored in a square owned by an agricultural company in the Fedula area. According to what was reported to the military by the owner who was targeted by the criminals, some unknown persons took advantage of the absence of all the members of the family, busy with a birthday event, to enter their property equipped with “vans or pickup trucks to load the goods, which were already ready for delivery”.

It is useless to underline the “difficulties encountered in managing a company in this area” and, consequently, the episode that occurred would seem to be only the tip of the iceberg of a series of criminal acts that has been affecting his company for a long time. «Over the years – added the owner – unfortunately our company has been the “subject” of numerous delinquent acts. Between thefts and damages we can count over twenty. Last year alone, two arsons and the theft of agricultural equipment caused damages of several thousand euros.”
