The parliamentary commission of inquiry into the security conditions and state of degradation of cities and their suburbs will be on a mission to Messina on Monday 27 October with a delegation of deputies chaired by president Alessandro Battilocchio (FI). At the end of the meetings in the Town Hall with the mayor Federico Basile and in the Prefecture with the police commissioner Annino Gargano and with the provincial commanders of the Carabinieri and the Guardia di Finanza, with the Tourism councilor of the Sicily Region, Elvira Amata (as delegate of the Extraordinary Commissioner of the Government for the rehabilitation of the Messina slums, Renato Schifani) and with the extraordinary commissioner of the Iacp of Messina, Giovanni Rovito, a press point in the same Prefecture at 3.45 pm.
The commissioners will continue the mission on the afternoon of Monday 27th in Messina with inspections. In particular, among the stages, we begin at 4.30 pm with some slums, to continue with other realities in marginal areas which will be specified during the press point.
On the morning of the following day, Tuesday 28 October, the deputies will visit the Angelo Musco state all-inclusive institute in Catania (viale G. da Verrazzano 101
