Sexual education from middle school with parental consent: “Ok Classroom”

The Chamber approved a series of amendments identical to the Valditara bill, including one from the League on sexual education at school. The text, partially corrective to the text approved in the commission, eliminates the ban for middle schools, which are thus equated to high schools, where the consent of the parents of minors is required for sexual education. «Without prejudice to the provisions of national indications», the activities in question are excluded for nursery and primary schools. The opposition talks about a “reverse amendment” which however – in their opinion – does not eliminate the criticism of the bill.
