The father of young footballer Lamine Yamal, a star of Spain and Barcelona, was stabbed and is in serious but stable condition. The Spanish newspaper ‘La Vanguardià reports that Mounir Nasraoui was stabbed several times in a parking lot in Mataro after an argument with some men while he was walking his dog, who then returned to attack him. The attack took place in the Rocafonda neighborhood of Mataro, about 30 kilometers north of Barcelona, where Yamal grew up and where his father and grandmother still live. Three people have been arrested and a fourth is wanted after the attack.
