Over 21 million euros for the “2022 rental bonus”. This is provided for in the notice signed by the Councilor for Infrastructure, Alessandro Aricò, and published on the portal of the Sicilian Region, with the methods, necessary requirements and documentation to be presented to access the contribution. The financial allocation, coming from the National Fund for supporting access to rental housing of the Ministry of Infrastructure, is 21.4 million euros. These are resources intended for holders of a rental contract for public, private or social housing in the year 2022. «The size of the rent bonus – says the President of the Region, Renato Schifani – has grown, going from 17 million in 2021 to 21 million in 2022: an increase in line with the direction already traced by my government, in the wake of social equity that supports the real economy. A measure that has proven to be a concrete help to families who have suffered the most from the effects of recessionary phases which we hope are now over, as we did with the high mortgage bonus, allocating 50 million euros, the payment of which was completed a few days ago does”. «We return with the 2022 rental bonus – says the councilor for Infrastructure, Alessandro Aricò – after the excellent experience of last year in which we supported over ten thousand families with an average contribution of around 1,600 euros for each family unit. We continue to stand alongside the Sicilians on such an important issue as the cost of rent which has a significant impact on the family budget.” The notice, available at the following link, identifies the income brackets for which the bonus is intended: ISEE 2022 of the family unit equal to or less than the sum of two INPS minimum pensions, equal to 13,659.88 euros, or equal to or less than the income limit expected for access to subsidized housing, equal to 15,639.46 euros. Furthermore, those who have suffered a loss of their personal income tax income of more than 25% due to the Covid-19 emergency will also be able to access the contribution, up to incomes with an ISEE value of 35 thousand euros. Among the documents to be presented is the Ise/Isee certification, referring to the 2022 tax period, which certifies the income bracket to which one belongs. For the purposes of disbursing the contribution, requests must be forwarded by the applicants exclusively online, starting from 9 am on 17 June and until 6 pm on 13 September, with the insertion, after accreditation, of the data and attachments on a specific web portal, by accessing the platform via Spid or electronic identity card (Cie): https://siciliapei.regione.sicilia.it/fondolocazione.
