Siderno is preparing to become the capital of inclusive sport. On 6 and 7 December the city on the Ionian coast of Reggio will host the Italian Sitting Volleyball Cup, both men’s and women’s, bringing one of the most anticipated and significant events on the national scene to Calabria.

The event, promoted in collaboration with the Italian Volleyball Federation, will bring together some of the best Italian teams in this ever-growing Paralympic discipline, capable of combining competition, emotion and inclusion. On the Siderno parquet, male and female athletes of the highest level will alternate, ready to offer two days of spectacular sport and great competitive intensity.

The event also represents an important opportunity to raise public awareness of the social value of sitting volleyball, a discipline that demonstrates how sport is truly a tool capable of breaking down barriers and creating communities.
