First Interregional Serie B championship match for Sintegra Rende who takes home the victory against Milazzo. 80-76, the final result. A very balanced game until the final seconds of the last quarter.
Tartamella scores the decisive triple. Lots of emotion for the home team, supported by a large crowd and the fans’ drums for all four periods of the match.

Coach Pierpaolo Carbone rejoices and summarizes the match as follows: “tough and fought match until the last moment but we are happy for the victory: it’s what we needed. We made too many mistakes in the first two quarters, then we fixed the percentage and finally put the extra gear in the third quarter, consolidating a 10-point lead. Nonetheless, the opponents did well to come back, before the great final plays that allowed the boys to win the match”, explained Carbone at the end of the match.
For him, the collective is good, not just the filmmakers Baquero, Tartamella and Ballati. The intensity of Rende Basket and the entire team on the pitch was excellent.
“The rush and the desire to do well made us commit too many initial naiveties. But then a great performance in the final two quarters against a good team like Milazzo.”
