Federico Pellegrino dispelled the Val di Fiemme taboo that had never seen him on the podium. Today ‘Chicco’ from Nus in Val d’Aosta obtained a excellent second place in skiathlon of the penultimate stage of the Nordic skiing Tour de Ski which will end tomorrow with the final climb on Alpe del Cermis. Ahead of the Italian, on podium number 46 of his career, is the Norwegian ‘phenomenon’ Johannes Hosflot Klaebo who achieved his fourth success in the six stages of this season. On the track that will host the Nordic skiing races of the Milan Cortina Olympic Games in 2026, Klaebo finished in 49’290 with Pellegrino 24 behind. Third and fourth were two Norwegians, Jan Thomas Jenssen (at 39) and Havard Moseby (at 46 ).
