As part of the services provided by the Provincial Command of Vibo Valentia, aimed at searching for explosive material, the Carabinieri of the Soriano Calabro station, with the support of the Calabria Helicopter Hunters Squadron, carried out a check at a house located in the town centre.
During the activity, the military found inside a gazebo belonging to the house, a total of 1200 P1 category firecrackers held without the required PS authorization and intended for sale. The pyrotechnic material was immediately seized and the alleged perpetrator reported to the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Vibo Valentia led by Camillo Falvo.
The ongoing checks, further strengthened in view of the end-of-year holidays, are part of the ongoing commitment of the Provincial Carabinieri Command of Vibo Valentia to guarantee the safety of the community and prevent the spread of unauthorized explosive material, with particular attention in this period.
