Road accident in the early hours of this morning on the SP 122, in the Stalettì area, where a Ford Focus, for reasons under investigation, lost control and ended up overturned on the road.
The accident occurred around 4:00 am. Only the driver was on board the vehicle, who was rescued and subsequently transferred to hospital by 118 healthcare personnel.
The Fire Brigade team from the Catanzaro Command, Soverato Detachment intervened on site, whose request for intervention was aimed at making the car and the area affected by the accident safe.
The Carabinieri and roadside assistance were also present on site in their respective areas of responsibility.
Among the initial hypotheses on the causes of the accident, falling asleep is not excluded, a circumstance which will have to be verified by the competent bodies.
