Still no news of Salvatore Giglio, 69 years old, married and father of four children, missing for several days. The man, originally from Mesoraca, moved to Steccato di Cutro about twenty years ago. Not seeing him return home, his family reported his disappearance to the Cutro Carabinieri station. He was last seen in the hamlet on September 21st, since then there has been no news of Giglio, searches so far have been in vain. Salvatore Giglio is a bricklayer and also works as a tiler and painter in Steccato and seems to be a follower of Jehovah’s Witnesses. The man, considered a quiet person in the hamlet, usually goes to the mountains in his free hours to look for mushrooms. The fact remains that his family, after looking for him in the places most congenial to him, are worried.
