One year after the Steccato di Cutro massacresome of the survivors and family members of the castaways who drowned off the coast of the Crotone sea will return to the Pythagorean city, and we are ready to welcome them and join in their pain and their claims.
To do this we organized three days of “No more deaths at sea” initiatives to also involve schools and tell their stories to young people.

Below is the detailed program.

Saturday 24 February

10.30am football match, organized by ResQ. Ezio Scida Stadium, Crotone
4.00 pm inauguration of photographic exhibition by Giuseppe Pipita, curated by Il Crotonese. Pythagoras Museum, Crotone
6.00 pm concert, with the support of the Afghan Community in Italy. Pythagoras Museum, Crotone

Sunday 25th

2pm Demonstration. Not to forget. Crotone city center.
5.30pm Public meeting. Debate with the participation of the victims’ families and the survivors of the shipwreck

Monday 26

4:00 am vigil on the beach of Steccato di Cutro, organized by the Crotonenews editorial team

9:00 press conference of the families of the victims and survivors.
Pythagoras Museum, Crotone.

On Monday 26 February, family members and survivors will hold testimony meetings in some schools in Crotone and at the University of Calabria.
