A criminal group dedicated to the theft, receiving and recycling of vehicles internationally. It was discovered by an investigation by the Naples Public Prosecutor’s Office, in the field of which the Traffic Police Compartment for Emilia Romagna, with the support of the Traffic Police Compartment of Catanzaro, of the Mobile Team of the Police Headquarters of Modena and the Pizzoferrato Carabinieri Station (CH), executed a Local search decree and personnel against fifteen suspects who must respond to criminal association aimed at the inspection, theft, receiving and recycling of vehicles, as well as false material and ideological documentary. The group had referents throughout Italy but fulcrum in Naples.

During the investigations, carried out through targeted observation, control and stalking services, analysis of telephone and cells, telephone and telematic interceptions, were identified and seized over 40 luxury cars of illegal origin, which, using fictitious companies attributable to prominent elements of the team or pleased peoplewere then exported abroad or fictitiously re -stored in the national territory for a total value ascertained by over 1,500,000 euros.
The investigative activity, carried out in the provinces of Naples, Caserta, Bologna, Modena, Reggio Emilia, Parma, Chieti e Catanzaroled to the seizure of further documentation, registration papers and plates, and to report of 51 people.
