The “Swimming in the pool” sports initiation service, promoted by the social policies sector of Palazzo de Nobili, will also be confirmed for the new year. The councilor Nunzio Belcaro explains that the activities will always take place in the two equipped public swimming pools of Pontepiccolo and Giovino, managed by the ASD Calabria Swim Race, to promote a path aimed at the psycho-physical recovery and integration of people with disabilities.
The service can involve a number of 20 users, for a maximum of eight monthly lessons, with swimming courses, with a 1/1 ratio, and group activities, also composed of able-bodied subjects, in cases of mild or moderate disability. Shifts will be agreed and scheduled to best prepare the accompanying services in the presence of qualified instructors. Citizens resident in the Municipality of Catanzaro, aged between 3 and 55, and in possession of recognized disability status pursuant to articles 3 and 4 of Law no. can apply for access to the service. 104/92. The ranking of beneficiaries, until the available financial resources are exhausted, will be prepared taking into account the lower ISEE income and the date of submission of the application in case of equal income.
